Auto Locksmith Worknet Terms & Conditions
For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions the following words will represent the following meanings:
‘The Company’ and "ALW" and "Car Key Network" shall mean Auto Locksmith Worknet (a brand and trading name operated by Augscape Ltd)
‘The Customer’ shall mean the person or organisation for whom the company agrees to arrange services to be carried out for, and/or arranges to supply materials to.
‘The Engineer’ shall mean the representative recommended by the company.
These conditions shall be incorporated into each and every contract made between the company and the customer.
No variation of waiver of or addition to these conditions, whether written or oral, shall have effect unless authorised in writing by a manager of the company.
The company will carry out only those items specified in the contract.
The company shall only ever act as an agency to arrange bookings for services to be carried out by the engineer and/or as a payment transfer solution between the customer and the engineer.
Price, Payment & Delivery
All prices are subject to VAT at the current UK VAT rate for goods and services.
All prices quoted are subject to survey by the engineer.
Payments for the arrangement of services supplied by the engineer is due in full and up front to secure a booking.
Booking slots prior to booking confirmations are subject to availability.
Confirmation of bookings shall be sent via email to the primary email address associated with the customer account.
The delivery of services shall be provided by the engineer and shall be detailed within booking confirmations.
The delivery of services by the engineer are subject to change at the engineers own discretion.
Where possible the engineer will provide the customer with notice of any changes to the timescale of the delivery of services.
Refunds & Cancellations
Should a booking be cancelled by the customer within 48 hours of the time of any scheduled services, the company reserve the right to retain any booking arrangement fees, and shall only be returned to the customer, under discretion of the company.
Should a booking be cancelled by the company, the customer will be entitled to a full refund in a reasonable time frame.
The customer shall not be entitled to withhold payment of any amount payable to the company by reason of any dispute or claim by the customer.
Should it be impossible for the engineer to complete the arranged services due to any vehicle fault or prior circumstance overlooked or unmentioned by the customer, the company reserve the right to retain payments for services mentioned in the booking confirmation including booking fees, and shall only be returned to the customer, under discretion of the company.
Requests for refunds by the customer must be sent in an email containing any booking reference numbers of ID's to the following email address along with the reasons for the refund being requested. (refund request should be sent to email@example.com).
Advice on refunds and how to obtain a refund can be obtained by telephoning the following number between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday - Friday. (refund telephone number to call: 03334441908).
Engineers operate under their own registration, and are solely responsible work and services performed by the engineer and subsequent liability.
The company shall not be held responsible for any delays, financial loss, loss due to theft, damage, injury or death as a result of works or services carried out by the engineer.
The company shall not be held responsible if the engineer is unable to complete work or services due to any prior circumstance overlooked or unmentioned by the customer.
The company shall provide the customer with any and all information held regarding the recommended engineer upon request in a reasonable time frame following any delays, loss of income, theft, damage, loss, injury or death as a result of works carried out by the engineer.
The Company shall only be liable for rectifying works performed by company employees or directors and shall not be held responsible for ensuing damage or claims resulting from any work carried out be the engineer.
The company will do its utmost to ensure that any quoted time and date is met and shall not be liable for any failure to meet such estimate nor for any loss, whether financial or otherwise.
Any time or date quoted by the company for delivery of the goods or performance of any service by the engineer is an estimate only.
Termination and Suspension
The company shall be entitled, in its absolute discretion and upon giving to the customer written notice of its intention to terminate the contract if the company in good faith shall have doubts as to the solvency of the customer.
The company shall have no liability whatsoever for any failure to perform or for any delay in the performance of any of its obligations under the contract arising wholly or in part by reason or any factor beyond its direct control.
Calls and / or emails may be recorded and stored for quality control and training purposes.
The Company shall not be under any obligation to provide an estimate to the Customer and the Company shall not be bound by any estimates given orally or in which manifest errors occur.
These terms & conditions & all contacts awarded between the Company & Customer shall be governed & construed in accordance with English law & shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English law.
